Christmas 2009

We started out our Christmas break with our own little Christmas in our apartment.

Then, we headed off to Wyoming to celebrate Christmas with these folks...

Beacause all of my sisters have families of their own (besides Val), we decided to make this our last Christmas all together. So, everyone came to my parents house and we had a great Christmas vacation. Lots of memories were made, and here is the proof.

Enjoy all the pictures... there are lots!

Dad made TWO Prime Ribs for Christmas Eve Dinner.

Delish!

We found 2 families that were in need this Christmas season. We rounded up lots of food, clothes, and toys; dropped them off at the door; rang the doorbell; and ran. It was a great service, and I will definitely remember the service given this Christmas season. These are some of the kids bringing the gifts to the door:

On Christmas Eve, some people received some awesome PJs. Here is the proof:

Christmas Morning: Can you see the flocked sagebrush Christmas tree in the back? It was BEAUTIFUL!

Our stockings: (they were sort of empty because Santa delivered in California before we went to Wyoming).

Kyle found Jaden's brand new Leapster and decided to put it to the test.

Uncle Kyle and Taycie:

I just loved this pic of JoJo in her cute new glasses from Santa!

Here are the guys playing Beatles Rock Band.

Austin, Tyler, and Jaden love it when Kyle comes into town, because he always plays with them.

For Christmas, Dad got all the son-in-laws some dutch oven gear. So we all busted out a grand dutch oven dinner. It was amazing.

The men chefs: I LOVE WYOMING HOME COOKING!

Christmas vacation was a great time with the fam. We all had a blast relaxing, eating, and enjoying the cold Wyoming weather. Thanks to the entire Stevens family for a great Christmas break!

PS... We got to see Howie, and we REALLY miss that little guy! It was so cold in WY, and he has about 0% body fat - so they have to keep a sweater on him just to keep him alive. He is such a good little dog.

And, Stef and Lamar brought this little mini hot dog for their kids. Now Howie has a new friend to play with. So fun!!!
