Update #3 - Thanksgiving & Christmas 2010

Mom & Dad Stevens and Val made the trek out to celebrate Turkey Day with us. Five people fills up our little place pretty quick (thanks for sharing the bathroom with us). The women made a ridiculous feast that quickly had us all in regret from over-eating.

Regret....

This is Kyle's favorite yam dish.

After Thanksgiving break, we decided to stay in San Jose and enjoy "Christmas by the Bay". We did as much as we could to stay in the Christmas spirit. What better way to get ready for Christmas than going out in the cold and eating frozen yogurt?

I must have said something.... She does not approve.

The teenage Asian boy who took this picture scoffed at our camera when I held it out for him. Apparently we are not cool if our phone does not take all of our pictures.

I must have said something good....

Our little Christmas tree. This tree made the whole place smell great in about 5 minutes. Kyle could not be happier.

Sad to say that between 5 combined educational degrees, the assembly of the tree base literally took about 8 minutes. We are all SMRT (a la Homer Simpson) enough to admit that the tree had bested us.

Our first California Christmas, complete with a real tree.
For Christmas Eve, we went over to the Brett's and Sariah's for a fondue dinner.

Brett refuses to smile for pictures.....
...but Kyle makes up for anyone not smiling.

Santa brought us some La-Z-Boys for Christmas. Pretty nice of him, I say.
